Promote your company
For maximum impact, promote your company by way of a major article published within the hard and soft copies of the magazine. An article is an excellent way to get detailed information across to your audience. You can show off your company by covering everything from history, products and services and R&D to future plans and projects.

How does it work?
One of our specialist writers will conduct a brief telephone interview with you. The 4 or 6 A4 page article will be based around your priorities and ideas and will be complemented by suitable photographic material of your choice. You will have full approval before anything is published. We will then circulate the magazine to all of our readers and you will of course receive a free hard copy of the magazine as well as a digital magazine link that you can send out by email to as many customers, suppliers and partners as you wish!

John White: Managing DirectorManaging Director John White makes the most of being grounded.

Welcome dear reader to your latest edition of Inside Aviation. It is a very strange experience typing up my contribution piece to this edition, as always, some weeks after all the hard work has gone into the rest of the content. Strange because all that work was conducted and finalised prior to Covid-19 having such a devastating impact on the aviation industry and indeed a truly frightening impact on us all globally on both a personal and professional level.

Fear not dear reader, I’m not about to contribute to the currently ever-present and seemingly negative news about this awful pandemic. There’s enough of that on the television, on our mobiles, on social media and in everyday conversation to keep us more than well (and sometimes not so well) informed. Therefore, allow me to talk a little about this edition and some of the positives that I have encountered whilst dealing with this crisis.

I am proud to be able to bring you this second edition of our new publication dedicated to the aviation industry. Of course,
I wish that times were better and many of you were not so hard hit, however, what better time to be able to provide a service or offer help and support than during the darker hours when it is needed most. My team and I will be here for you and this industry through good times and bad and remain true to our moto of helping take you forward and skyward.

A read through the many pages of news, company profiles, advertisements and interesting snippets amongst the pages that follow will, I trust, serve to remind us all what a fantastic and exciting industry this is and that despite this current setback, we can see how well things were going just a matter of weeks ago and strive to not lose focus of that as we look to rebuild, repair, rethink or reignite. These pages were written and created in brighter times; however, these times were not so very long ago, and I hope we will take off again just as quickly as we were grounded.

Ordinarily I would be writing this on my desktop computer in the comfort of my office chair with the door open so that I can capture and be inspired by the energy and buzz from around 30 or so editorial and sales staff all doing their best to get your message across to your customers and suppliers within the pages of our magazines. It is a manic, exciting, mesmerising and vibrant place to be – as anyone who has worked in a news or sales room will tell you. However, not today, as today, due to the current lockdown, I type this on my laptop from the comfort of my home. Don’t get me wrong, I love my home and all the creature comforts, but it feels strange to hear birds chirping cheerfully outside of the nearby window rather than a myriad of fascinating conversations, laughter and banter amongst colleagues and with customers.

What is comforting, other than my current lounging attire, is to see and hear about all the many cases of people banding together to look after each other. Offers of support, assistance and services from neighbours, businesses and even total strangers. Such acts of kindness serve to remind us that we are all alike and one big family in times of need. It is heart-warming to witness and surely only good can come from such an abundance of love for one another.

It is also maybe a time to love yourself a little more too. I for one, spend more time at my desk than I do at the gym or out of doors and often grab a bite of some unsavoury snack to keep me fuelled during a busy deadline schedule. But now, I have been forced to accept that sometimes we all need to slow down a little and appreciate the world around us. I have walked in the sunshine the last couple of days and honestly had quite forgotten what a simple pleasure that is. I have prepared myself some healthy meals and even dusted off my exercise bike! Now I know the show must go on, but a little life balance goes a long way.

I will sign off now as the birds outside have gone quiet and my work instincts have kicked in so I must leave my chair to investigate why they are not working! When we speak again, I hope that this crisis will have abated and once more we can set our sights high and together move forward and skyward.

With the ever changing aviation industry continuing to grow, Inside Aviation is at hand to report on the latest technologies, acquisitions, mergers and appointments as well as to provide in depth profiles for companies and connect them to new opportunities.
